Turning a Series A Announcement into Market Authority.

  • SLAMcore, an Imperial College London spinout, develops software that enables robots to navigate their environments, using SLAM (simultaneous localisation and mapping), a foundational robotics technology. The company’s goal was to leverage its $16 million Series A funding announcement to strengthen brand authority with top-tier technology outlets while sustaining visibility and momentum within the robotics trade media.

  • We applied elements of our early-stage funding package to maximise impact. This included a Mining for Gems messaging session to refine and simplify the company’s narrative for media and target audiences; crafting compelling, newsworthy angles designed to resonate with higher-tier tech publications; and producing a comprehensive press pack. Together, these steps positioned SLAMcore for a successful and strategically impactful announcement.

  • The announcement was featured in over 70 different media outlets including TechCrunch; PitchBook; Venture Beats; Tech.EU and Sifted. Beyond this, the key messaging and media introductions supported the company in generating ongoing inbound media enquiries, further helping the company to position itself on investment platforms such as Crunchbase, ensuring that descriptions and messages were aligned with how the company wanted to be represented.
